overuse injuries.

A. Definitely! This is not some pretty little aerobics class. Men often find Fit 4 Life to be a bit challenging. Even men need cardio. Cardio
burns fat!
Q. Do you yell, disrespect, degrade, scream, or curse at your members?
A. Absolutely not. Fit 4 Life is a professional establishment. We don't tolerate that kind of behavior from our members or our staff.
We push and encourage our members to do better even when you feel you can't. We believe in all of our members and encourage you
to believe in yourself. Unlike larger gyms and fitness centers, we know all of our clients on a first name basis. We know that
other boot camps in our area tell you this so that you will attend their boot camp instead. Don't take their word for it. Come and see
for yourselves. The only ones we intimidate is our competition. We have a very high success rate in weight loss. And our dropout rate is
very low. Our members are growing and the pounds are being shed rapidly. We have real weight loss results that you can actually see.
We do not edit our pictures, nor do we try to deceive you by taking close up pictures of our clients before weight loss, and then taking
smaller, or far away pictures for their progression pictures. As you will see, our photos are the same size before and after.
Q. How much weight can I expect to lose in my first week?
A. Expect to lose 5-15 pounds your first week, more if you are of a larger stature.
Q. How often should I work out?
A. You are required to attend at least three sessions weekly, but may attend more. Five classes per week are included in your monthly
membership fee. We give you 20 sessions each month for the price of 12.
Q. Can children join the boot camp?
A. Absolutely. Children are encouraged. Obesity in children has increased dramatically, and we need to get our children fit.
Q. My child is not old enough to attend boot camp, what other programs do you have for younger children?
A. We have a program specifically for younger children called "Fit 4 Camp kid's club." It is held on Saturdays from 12:00pm-2:00 pm
Q. I don't have a babysitter, can I bring my young children with me to boot camp?
A. Certainly. We have a new supervised facility located within Fit 4 Life for your children called "Jumpin' Jacks."
Your children will have a blast in this large 1,900 square foot disney decorated room. We also have a separate waiting area
for older children as well.
Q. How long are the boot camp sessions?
A. Our boot camp sessions typically last a total of 45 minutes unless otherwise stated. Get on the ball is a 30 minute class.
Q. Is there any floor work involved?
A. Not in our boot camp or step classes. Some floor work is done in our boot camp drill class and our new get on the ball class.
Q. Do you offer the use of treadmills, ellipticals, or other machines?
A. No. How many of you have those at home either collecting dust, or your clothes are hanging on them. We use your own body weight
jump ropes, stability balls, steps, weights, and other resistance training methods to tone, and build muscle. You will be involved in a highly
motivated class, packed with lots of energy, great music, and motivated people who are willing to help you stay motivated and
focused. This is not like the boring gym, you will be motivated and you will look forward to your weekly sessions.
Q. Why do some people drop out of the boot camp ?
A. Typically people drop out because they want an easy way out, and when they leave they will continue to get the same results
that they have been getting in the past. You must dedicate and commit yourself to the program and not blame other people or make
excuses. Once you get in touch with yourself, you can accomplish anything.
Q. I was once a member of Fit 4 Life and dropped out of the program, what do I have to do to come back?
A. Call us, or register online. You may be able to skip another orientation and start almost immediately.
We welcome all of our clients back. And will once again help you obtain your goal ~ NO REINSTATEMENT FEES!
Q. What if I can't attend a Saturday orientation, because of my work schedule?
A. Call us and we will set you up with a private orientation. We are available every day for orientation.
Q. I am currently in another program, but I am not losing any weight, why is that?
A. Because you are not at Fit 4 Life! Your trainer may not even be certified! Ask to see her certification. If he/she/ is not certified through
AFAA, ACE, ACSM, NASM, NETA...or a similar, ....RUN!! He/She may be certified online, or worse, maybe they are not certified at all.
Q. What does that mean?
A. It means that Instead of being monitored by the National Fitness Testing Council (NFTC), an educational testing board that verifies
the validity and format of the examination, he/she sat in front of a computer and answered multiple choice questions and fill ins and
mailed or emailed their test in, paid about $199 and received a piece of paper that is not highly recognized by any creditable fitness facility.
Q. What are my risk for me working with someone who is not certified?
A. There are too many to list, however here are a few:
1. Improper body alignment ~ improper spinal alignment
2. Improper controlled movements ~ improper range of motion
3. Injuries to bones and muscles, such as sprains, strains, fractures, and torn ligaments
4. Rapidly increased heart rate
5. Improper warm up
6. Improper cool down ~blood pooling
7. Improper stretching technique
8. Ballistic movements
9. Little or no weight loss
You wouldn't go to a doctor or surgeon who got their certification online, so why would you risk your health or life with some one who does
not value your health enough to go through the necessary steps of getting tested and certified through a reputable agency? Do your research.
Isn't your life worth it?
